Description
The Telecom Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, planning, and monitoring work on mobile sites (4G/5G), both for new site deployments and complex upgrades. They serve as the key point of contact between internal teams (negotiation, design, engineering) and external stakeholders (subcontractors, suppliers, technical services).
Responsibilities
- Deployment of new 4G/5G sites
- 4G/5G upgrades, including complex site management
- Handover of sites from Negotiation & Design teams, technical visits (VT), joint inspection visits (VIC), work plans (PP), coordination with EDF (electricity), fiber optics, subcontractor orders, site monitoring, commissioning, punch list resolution, and operational start-up
- Take charge of project files passed on by the Negotiation and Design departments
- Conduct or participate in technical visits (VT), joint inspection visits (VIC), and access or safety inspections
- Plan and coordinate work on sites (deployment or upgrade of 4G/5G)
- Order and monitor subcontractor services (civil engineering, radio, energy, fiber, etc.)
- Manage technical access (EDF, fiber optics, permits, authorizations)
- Monitor site progress on the ground and ensure high-quality execution
- Organize site acceptance operations (commissioning, punch list resolution)
- Ensure the commissioning of equipment in coordination with technical teams (BTS, antennas, energy, transmission)
Profile
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in construction, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in works supervision in the mobile telecom sector (4G/5G)
- Proficient in French and English
